using algebra tiles to solve simple equations

Hello folks! I have a serious problem about math and I was hoping that someone might have the ability to help me out in some way. I have a algebra test in a few weeks and even though I have been taking math seriously, there are still a few parts that cause a lot of headache, such as using algebra tiles to solve simple equations and perpendicular lines especially. Last week I had a session with a math teacher, but many things still remain vague to me. Can you suggest a good way of studying or a good private teacher that you know already?

tutors are no better than attending your routine classes. If you have a doubt, you need to makes an effort to get rid of it. I would not suggest tutoring, but would ask you to try Algebrator.
