using a ti 89 for doing square roots is my biggest problem. Can some one help me understand it? I am a beginner at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject?

What precisely are your difficulties with using a ti 89 for doing square roots? Can you give some more details. I remember that some time ago I too had to go through a similar time of apprehension. In my case, my worried search led me to a coach in my neighborhood. But he was so tied up that he just did not have the time for me. He was the one who really suggested that these days there is yet an additional answer at hand. He initiated me to these breathtaking programs in algebra.

I have tried out many software. I would without any doubt say that Algebrator has helped me to come to grips with my difficulties on dividing fractions, trigonometric functions and relations. All I did was to merely key in the problem. The reply showed up almost right away showing all the steps to the result. It was quite easy to follow. I have relied on this for my math classes to figure out College Algebra and Basic Math. I would highly suggest you to try out Algebrator.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, College Algebra and Intermediate algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with dividing fractions, trigonometry and function definition. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.

I understand. My concepts are pretty clear, but this particular set seems to be very tough. A little help would do me a lot. Please give me the URL to it.

Don’t worry my friend. As what I said, it displays the solution for the problem so you won’t really have to copy the answer only but it makes you understand how did the program came up with the answer. Just go to this page http://www.graph-inequality.com/linear-functions-slope-graphs-and-models.html and prepare to learn and solve quicker.
