solving geometric sequence with two non sequential terms

I think God must have been in a really bad mood decided to come up with something called algebra to trouble us! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out a solution to this algebra problem which relates to solving geometric sequence with two non sequential terms and I still can’t solve it. I’m particularly stuck on lcf, greatest common factor and sum of cubes. Can anyone show me the way on how to go about solving such problems? I’ve tried all ways that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent help now. Anybody?
