I have been in your place some time agowhen I was studying elementary algebra lesson and free. What part of adding numerators and rational inequalities poses more difficulties? Because I am sure that what you really need is a good software to help you understand the basic concepts and ways of solving the exercises. Did you ever try a program like that? I have tried many but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to solve, it doesn't just give you the answers.

Welcome aboard friend. This subject is very interesting, but you need to know your basics and techniques first. Algebrator has guided me a lot in my course. Do give it a try and it will work for you too.

I have tried a number of math programs. I would not name them here, but they were of no use. I hope this one is not like the others.

I remember having often faced problems with graphing function, algebra formulas and angle complements. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Remedial Algebra, College Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.

You can find it at http://www.graph-inequality.com/solving-inequalities-with-absolute-values.html. Please do post your experience here. It may help a lot of other beginners as well.
