Hi friends, can anyone help me out with my homework in College Algebra. It would be great if you could just give me heads up about the resources from where I can acquire help on factoring polynomials.

What exactly don't you understand about how is the quadratic formula used in real life? I remember having problem with the same thing in Remedial Algebra, so I think I could try to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebrator, that's what I did in my Pre Algebra, and I have to say it's the greatest! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can work with it anytime you want. It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever used a similar program. I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

I checked out a number of software programs before I chose Algebrator. This was the most appropriate for ratios, system of equations and solving inequalities. It was easy to key in the problem. Instead of only giving the solution, it took me through all the steps explaining all the way until it reached the solution. By the time, I reached the answer I learnt how to go about it on my own. I used the program for deciphering my problems in Remedial Algebra, College Algebra and College Algebra in math. Do you suppose that you will like to try this out?

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Algebra 2. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with perpendicular lines, function definition and conversion of units. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
