Hello friends, I misplaced my math textbook yesterday. It’s out of stock and so I can’t get it in any of the shops near my place. I have an option of hiring a private instructor but then I live in a very remote area so any tutor would charge high rates to come over. Now the thing is that I have my assessment next week and I can’t study since I lost my textbook. I couldn’t read the chapters on free algebra for dummies mathematics and free algebra for dummies mathematics. A few more topics such as proportions, simplifying fractions, linear equations and scientific notation are still confusing me. I need some help guys! |

Greetings Poster What’s up. Well I’ve been looking at your post and believe me : I know what it feels like. Some time ago I was in the same problem, but before you get a tutor, I will like to recommend you one software that’s really cool: Algebrator. I really tried a lot of other programs but that one it’s definitely the the one! The best luck with that! Let me know what you think!. |

Hey, Thanks for the instant reply. But could you give me the details of reliable websites from where I can make the purchase? Can I get the Algebrator cd from a local book mart available in my area? |

This sounds interesting. How can I get it? I think I will even recommend it to my friends if it is really as great as it sounds. |

I remember having difficulties with sum of cubes, unlike denominators and difference of squares. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - Intermediate algebra, College Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
