Hey friends, I have just completed one week of my college, and am getting a bit upset about my 8th grade taks comparison to algebra 1 taks objectives course work. I just don’t seem to grasp the topics. How can one expect me to do my homework then? Please guide me. |

Being a tutor, this is a comment I usually hear from children. 8th grade taks comparison to algebra 1 taks objectives is not one of the most popular topics amongst kids. I never encourage my students to get ready made solutions from the internet, however I do encourage them to use Algebrator. I have developed a liking for this tool over the years. It helps the students learn math in an easy to understand way. |

I looked into a number of software programs before I chose Algebrator. This was the most appropriate for matrices, complex fractions and algebra formulas. It was easy to key in the problem. Instead of only giving the solution, it took me through all the steps clearing up all the way until it arrived at the answer. By the time, I arrived at the solution I learnt how to go about it on my own. I used the program for deciphering my problems in Basic Math, Algebra 1 and College Algebra in algebra. Do you suppose that you will like to try this out? |

Is it really that helpful? I’m concerned because the software might not really help because it only answers the problem per ?e. I like to learn how a problem is solved and not only find out the answer. Nevertheless, could you give me a link for this software? |

Thanks pals for all your replies. I have purchased the Algebrator from http://www.graph-inequality.com/inequalities-2.html. Just got it installed and started using it. Its fantastic. The exercise questions can test the real knowledge that we have on Intermediate algebra. I am thankful to you all! |
