Hello there I have almost taken the decision to hirea algebra private teacher, because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework lately. Every day when I come home from school I spendall my time with my algebra homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not completely sure whether a math tutor is worth it, since it's very costly, and who knows, maybe it's not even so helpful. Does anyone know anything about math ratios formula that can help me? Or maybe some explanations about adding fractions, quadratic inequalities or side-angle-side similarity? Any suggestions will be much appreciated. |

Although I understand what your problem is, but if you could elaborate a bit on the areas in which you are facing difficulty, then I might be in a better position to help you out. Anyhow I have a suggestion for you, try Algebrator. It can solve a wide range of questions, and it can do so within minutes. And that’s not it, it also gives a detailed step-by-step description of how it arrived at a particular solution. That way you don’t just find a solution to your problem but also get to understand how to go about solving it. I found this program to be particularly useful for solving questions on math ratios formula. But that’s just my experience, I’m sure it’ll be good no matter what the topic is. |

I remember having often faced difficulties with y-intercept, like denominators and complex fractions. A truly great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Basic Math, Basic Math and College Algebra. I greatly recommend the program. |

All, Thanks a lot for the replies that you have given. I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: http://www.graph-inequality.com/inequalities.html. The interesting part that I liked was the money back guarantee that they are offering there. I went ahead and bought Algebrator. It is really easy to handle and proves to be a noteworthy tool for Algebra 1. |

You don’t have to worry about calling them, it can be purchased online. Here’s the link: http://www.graph-inequality.com/inequalities.html. They even provide an unreserved money back assurance, which is just great! |
